IP anonymization
Google Analytics logs website traffic anonymously. This information cannot be traced back to any individual.
IP addresses are anonymized in Google Analytics so that the data in the tool cannot be traced back to individuals.
When an Analytics customer requests their IP address to be anonymized, the address is anonymized as soon as technically possible at the earliest possible point in the collection network. With the IP anonymization feature in Analytics, the last octet of IPv4 user IP addresses, and the last 80 bits of IPv6 addresses, are set to zeros in memory shortly after they are sent to Analytics' collection network. Full IP addresses are never recorded in such cases.
Read more about IP anonymization in Analytics.
In Facebook Business Manager, data collected via Facebook Pixel is aggregated so that it cannot be linked to any individuals. When data is aggregated, it is therefore anonymous.
